Annuity paymentAn equal monthly payment for the whole term, where the interest/principal split shifts over time.
CollateralAn asset securing repayment. For a mortgage loan, this is real estate.
RefinancingReplacing existing loans with a new, cheaper one — often consolidating several obligations.
Payment holidayA period when you pay only interest or nothing — by agreement with the lender.
Remote authenticationCompleting a notarial transaction over video, without visiting the notary's office.
LTVThe loan amount relative to the collateral value. Usually up to 70% for a mortgage loan.
